    Roots charged s52

    Hello here's my supercharged s52 build.

    The car is a 91 318i
    The donor engine is out of a wrecked 98 m3.

    parts list
    obd1 swapped 165k s52, Red label 413, ostrich 2.0 running tunerpro with midnight tuning software.
    39LB injectors
    Modified Eaton m90 off a Buick 3800 with custom made bracket for the s52.
    ebay intercooler and bov.

      First start sorry for the squeaky alternator belt.


      This is a road test not the best video but you will get the point.

              So, do you have a bracket template, or plans on selling the bracket?

                        That was the plan but a Buick m90 has a long snout and the intake is at the back I am not running a brake booster so I don't have a problem. I even shortened the intake for clearance.

                          After I get all the boost leaks out I am hoping to be at 5psi. my goal is around 8psi but I think my injector's might limit me.

                            So after getting the car running I couldn't get it to idle I had know clue what was up I played with the idle tune for hours finally got it to idle by maxing out the idle fueling. Drove the car about 20 miles then it started missing on cylinder 6 so I tore it down only to find this..

                            So I thought I jest burnt a valve oh well. I tore down the head only to find all of the exhaust valve's are bent.


                            While she is down make her perdy.
