Just a thought...I would be wary of media lasting the oil filter housing. Id go with soda blasting, but the thought of tiny beads or sand in oil passages gives me the willies!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.

Dave at renewed finishes blast his all of the time. If you take the time to clean it out properly or plug the holes before blasting. There shouldn't be any issues.Comment

More parts. Need front rotors. I blame the delay on this build to vacations. Hopefully dropping some stuff off at the powedercoaters.Comment

been a while since my last post. waiting for parts and doing research takes a lot of time. small update.
got some stuff back from powdercoating had Espo's in LI take care of it.
started reassembling
where the work gets done...slowly.
bough the parking brake kit refresh kit from ECStuning to revamp the parking brake.
new cables and locking nuts
old and new side by side
installed and done.
it was some what of a bitch due to the fact that I didnt have the specialty tool to install like lovely springs the hold the shoes to the splash shield. I didnt have anything in my toolbox to install them easily so it took my powerful thumbs and a few curse words to install. once i got one the rest came very easily.
needed some knock around wheels while i refinish the fittipaldis so picked up these for super cheap from a good friend.
BBS RM 15x narrow et 33? they will be refinished eventually bigger lips, fresh powdercoat and hardware.
test fitted on the bagged e30 since the cirrusblau will be bagged once the swap is done.
thats it for now waiting on a few more parts to come in then to send them to Espos for powdercoating. Once I get those pieces back I should be able to button up the engine some more.Comment

its been a while since i've updated this thing. Moved out of my parents place and kinda loss some inspiration over the winter not to mention it was a brutal winter.
nevertheless, I started digging into this swap/build again. Finished the engine for the most part. It really took forever since I was putting together something that I didn't take apart so most the time I was looking through boxes for the right nut or bolt. I still have to order new belts and a couple new sensors.
staring at the engine bay I really hated it so I found someone that will help me clean it up. With the help of a I started to tuck the harness that runs to the front and removing stuff away from the engine bay to make shaving it a little easier. Hopefully within a month the car will be away getting shaved.
does anyone know what this goes to? or if it'll be needed for a m50nvswap sans AC, PS?
thanks!
Cable bottom right
