My favorite build thread. I know you don't bullshit around, this is going to be good.....
Oh, nice job on melting that piston.!
Thanks really means a lot coming from you, maybe I'll have to pick up an m30 manifold some day for my e28. Car felt like it made very good power when I melted the piston haha shot the dipstick into the woods since I had the hood off.

Buy my m20 racecar parts, help fund my lsx turbo swap.

That's what normally happens when your like, "damn this shit feels a lot faster" then BOOM.
That HX52 might be too small. Those LS motors can make a 1000hp with boost.
How much are planning to boost?

Lean is mean haha. The hx52 is just mocked up for size, I'm thinking Borg Warner s476r, and water/meth injection. Maybe 18psi or more we will see

100 bucks isn't enough to make it worth while to do. It took me 3 hours to modify mine. I used a plasma cutter to cut the pan and it still took about 3 hours to cut, fit, prep and weld the pan.
Huge fan of everything but the square headlights... looks like something someone thought up as an afterthought.
As far as the pan goes, cost of pan + $100 for modding + shipping sounds reasonable / what people will pay.
The square headlights aren't for everyone, that's for sure.

I don't think 100+ shipping is worth it either, the plate I used was like $30 itself.

1. $30 for the amount of plate you used seems kinda pricey
2. I thought I remembered the sikky pans being way cheaper than they are. $750 includes a modded pan with kickouts on the sides + baffling, the necessary dipstick and an oil filter relocation kit. GTO pans are about $100 or so used.
Trust me, I know your labor/time is worth the money and finding someone who's good at welding aluminum isn't easy, but take what you think your work is worth and reduce it by 20-50%... that's what people are usually willing to pay (at least that's been my experience anyway)
pure awesomeness.... just swapped in a s50 into my car.. drove it for about 50 miles and texted Otis to order a turbo manifold... LSX with boost is going to be out of this world.
