That's correct, and the e30 bearings are "thinner" so I am making a small spacer to make up the difference

So the OD of the bearings is the same? Or is it that the ID of the e28 bearings is smaller than the ID of the e30 bearings? Because that's interesting, I figured since e28 rear setups hold up to more power that the e28 bearings would be bigger.

So I ordered an MGW shifter, Monster clutches Lt-1sc w/ lightweight flywheel and a circuit soul shift knob. So far I've only received the shifter so here's that, very nice piece.

Shaved the valve covers and installed power steering and alternator.

And I'm contemplating cutting up the car instead of sticking cheap fender flares on it like everyone does.

Clutch and flywheel just showed up from Monster. It's an LT1-SC twin disk, it uses a c7 pressure plate with monster's clutch disks and a lightweight billet flywheel. Rated for 1000whp, that should do the trick.

Fuel cell, dual 044s, fittings, and bunch of other parts all ready to go in. Installed the monster clutch/flywheel the other day and pulled my stock gas tank yesterday. I'm still waiting on a few things to fit the fuel system. Next is injectors and megasquirt.

Do you have metalworking experience? Cuz widening the stock quarters would be a MASSIVE job. You'd be better off to make a buck and form new ones over that.

What kind of brake booster setup did you use?

Id check out some fiberglass if you want really wide quarters and fronts, I should be able to fit atleast a 305 on my current setup in the rear.

                    Nice build!!!

Maybe you already answered this, and I just missed it. But, where did you get the square headlight setup from?
Holy shit did you even read this post before you posted?

I personally don't have any bodywork experience but two guys I am good friends with one worked in a body shop for years and the other owns this 37 coupe. They both said they would help me do it if I really wanted to.

I plan to use the Garagistic bracket and wilwood pedals with manual dual master cylinders

The more I thought about it I really couldn't bring myself to cut the car and put the fender flares on. I'm still undecided on the whole thing.

Thanks, the square headlights I bought from someone off of Instagram, they are taifun brand.

Thanks, hoping for 600-700whp for now, then I can do a built motor and shoot for the moon.

Cut out my spare tire well and cut a nice circle with my trusty harbor freight angle grinder and started to weld it in and ran out of argon. At least now I can machine standoffs for the fuel cell and start to run all the lines.
