    If that hahaha
Yea Look in my build mine was rusted in same spot and I welded it with wiring in. just gotta get crafty with it.

LOL looking at the first pics on page 1 I feel like I remember this car..... Some guy texted me asking if i wanted to trade my e36 for it I said probably but was out of town. When I went to meet up with him he never responded to text.

Oh boy a lot has happened since I last updated this ~9 months ago.
I’m still dding this car and loving it.
Here are some of the things I’ve done to it and some random photos:

Took it to a local German American Society Maifest car show

Installed a Recaro Profi SPG for summer duty

Installed Bilstein Sports & OEM E36M springs for a rallyx mid-div weekend and blew up my water pump hours before racing and replaced it with a spare that I had on hand

Stuffed my oil pan with dirt

Replaced H&R Race front and GC 600# rear springs with IE3s & Vorshlag camber plates - no more stance car, yay!

Replaced front wheel bearings with Timken units and installed a Grip Royal wheel

I put on the staggered DSIIs and 225/45 Blizzak WS70s for winter

Installed seat heaters in the driver’s seat [still need to tidy up wiring this spring]

Got a custom made roundel emblem to put over the Grip Royal horn button

Installed a 13 button OBC as well as an AutoSolutions E36M SSK and made my own bitch clip [it’s offset in the console and I don’t like it really]

Sent my cluster off to E30_dad to be refurbished [flat black respray, m needles, and overall maintenance to be done]

Test fit 235/40-17 on a spare RC090 to replace the 215/40s that the gold BBS currently have on them

    235vs215

Couple random photos from my phone

I’m gonna try to stay ontop of this thread now.. My track car is at a good pausing point so this is going to get some attention for the spring.
Just ordered Koni rears (PN 8041 1186SPORT) tonight as well as Rogue Engineering RSMs

Future plans off the top of my head for this:
    • make a trunk floor and tidy up amp wiring
    • install koni rears
    • install e30_dad cluster
    • fix ssk offset
    • install passenger window regulator
    • fix door/window seals
    • get 235/40s on summer gold BBS
    • prep and paint 87 iS valance that I have in storage, that garden edging lip the PO put on needs to go lol
    • remove carpet and do floor pan/drivers front wheel well rust repair
    • clean up under-dash wiring mess
    • finish installing a/c components
    • clean up s52 wiring
    • refinish winter BBS in black w/ gold hardware & put 215/45-17 snows on em

I got the LukeBox in about 2 weeks ago and it is insane!!

once this hunk of junk is hauled off by the local scrapper I will be able to get a lot more done to this car. i ordered the wrong a/c drier off pelican and need to order another one before i can do a/c. i did install the parallel flow condenser from carpartkings.com though. that thing is sweeeet!!

    thanks guys!

    small update.

still driving the piss out of this thing every single day.

my spal fan broke again... blades hit the condenser and they all snapped off new one coming tomorrow.

i really need to work on the a/c install so i can get going on the skid plate fab. once it has a skid plate my battered and beaten 87iS lower valance is going on and that god awful garden edging is gonna be trash.

this weekend i will be installing the new spal and preparing the trunk for this monster from GAS. gotta take the deadening out and clean up wiring.

    lookin fresh at work.
