Sold the car last night. Not sure how it feels yet. I'm sure it'll sink in when the other E30 gets picked up this weekend though.

Vert/sedan. Both have 4 window switches.

plans were to begin taking this to the track on sundays. a local course has things called sunday fundays. $50 open track day on sundays. so i wanted to avoid any starvation issues that may have happened from going single.

it looks awesome and i was super anal fixing it all. i seam sealed everything and did several coats of por and undercoat. it's so solid and sealed up right now. it's almost quiet on the inside lol.

here is a photo dump of everything i have yet to post. i've got too much homework to narrate the pics individually right now.

    highlights of pics:
    • all rust
    • bunch of parts to replace while in there (did whole hvac box, all new door seals/pop out seals/trunk seals/etc etc etc, this whole floor pan repair cost me around $4k)
    • 220V outlet installed!
    • all areas were rivet/welded & por15, seam sealer, 3m undercoated exterior and sound deadening interior
    • we notched the front wheel wells to fit larger tires in as well
    • two new fuel pump and all new hard & soft line from tank to rails

these are just this summers rust repair and total refresh of anything related to the repair.. 4 days after 4 months of working on it, i got the head gasket problem and those pictures of the head gasket/head/refresh a bunch of stuff while youin there are to come..

    hehe

i've got to get the DS2s from a buddy and get them mounted up, finish shadow line on passenger side, clean the car up real good, tidy up engine bay wiring (been putting this off forever lol) and then take off rack & pull out lukebox. then i'll post it up for sale.

it is going to go up for sale.. after i got the head gasket replaced and a bunch of other little parts/pieces. i took it on a test drive and realized i can't tear it all apart quite yet.

it won't include the yakima stuff, lukebox, or gold bbs (will have staggered DS2).

should be getting a FS ad made sometime this week.

The work that Adam has put into the car is incredible. This is a guy who does things right. $9K for a car that well sorted would be a total steal!

i haven't gone anywhere yet.. i've still got the race car chassis but that's on an undetermined pause.

i've been e30ing for a long long time, it's going to be nice to have something different (and an s54).

fyi; everything will be parted with EXCEPT the lukebox, roof rack, & gold bbs. the rest is fair game.

    lol

i'm flying out to ohio next weekend to pick up a new daily. it will replace this car so i was planning on posting it for sale.

get s52 back together, get some running, driving, hooning vids and compression numbers to prove that it all works as it should and then maybe post a fs ad for a week or two and when it doesn't sell, start to tear it down.
