    Boris.

    This is boris

    Boris next to my ute

Boris is an 89 325I manual family sedan..
    Boris enjoys shit like this

Altho he's never done a burnout.. but we can dream.

Had boris 12 months and 5 days..and hes come a long way. (whos counting)

Getting stuck into a colour change... and I dont do shit by halves. Prepare your anus's.

Front is stripped down to nothing apart from the engine, interior at this stage just consists of a loom which is also getting removed to take care of some small rust issues. Alot of work, but no point painting over cancer.

        Monte carlo blau.

I was going to spray it in atlantis, but there is already a couple of atlantis blue E30's out there.. Plus I dont really feel it suits the age of the car.

biggest problem is E30's are well known for rust around the gromet, I lost a bit of the firewall which I have to repair. This raises issues when you are feeding a loom through a rusty hole with sharp edges.

not going to lie. Its a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles of a job.

couple more of the maloo, shes an R8 model. Leather interior, harop brakes, OTR and maffless tune. So far on 335rwhp out of the 5.7 gen III

you just never know.. My cars lived in a dry climate for its life and I was sure I had a near on rust free example. It wasnt until I pulled off the insulation off the firewall to inspect underneath.. A breeding ground for rust.

somthing that did blow me away... something to simple that can cause alot of issues 20 yrs down the line... the rubber drain on the firewall on the RHS near the exhaust.. thats the drain for the wiper assembly area when it fills up full of water through the vents... I found my drain packed full of leaves.. NO WAY was water coming out there. So naturally I have some rust holes to fill and has caused some condensation in there which transfered some surface rust to the roof of the scuttle. Just small shit like that which can ruin your day. Repairable.. but a pain in the ass.

Il document the spots I found once its a shell and ready for prep.
