    Sterling 1990 325is *Turbo Build*

So I bought this car about a year ago, and have been largely in the shadows on there until I got it to where I wanted my baseline to be for the project build.

Im building a new head, welding the water jackets, installing IE HD rockers.

Once the machine shop is done with that, I will O-ring my block with an OEM head gasket and swap the new head over.

I also have this RevShift Manifold:

I also picked up an HX35 (7-blade) turbo which I'm having rebuilt

Im replacing my ASA wheels with a set of staggered RC090's. Here they are stripped and polished. Im going to be finishing the centers with a hyper silver, which should look good with Sturling.

                            Update- Head disassembly

                            Starting point

                            Stripping it down

                            Cam decisions

My question to those who know or have done it before... Is there any benefit to buying a 272 regrind a this point vs having my stock cam reconditioned?

Im going to have an OEM head gasket, with an oringed block, and an entirely rebuilt head with HD rockers. Would it be safe to run a 272? is there a benefit with a turbo set up?

thanks for all of the help in advance, I'm learning a lot as I go on this build

you could use the stock cam without an issue at all, and they are not that expensive to get brand new, or you could go with the bimmerhead turbo cam. You could use the 272 as well but I don't see the point with boost.
