    thanks for the links!

Where I'm stuck on the decision is that it looks like a cam is going to be about 180-250 bucks which is not an issue. Im just not sure whats best since at the same cost i could either refubing mine, buying a new stock one or buying an IE 272.

My biggest concern is valve - piston contact. I have read that some have touched with only a 272 with stock pistons. While most of those cases have been with a shaved head and mine is only going to be resurfaced, Im not sure I want to run the risk. I might just be overly paranoid though.

Good start to the build! I saw your post on reddit, and am glad to see you're a member here!

Are you planning on doing anything more with the brakes after the turbo gets on?

I will be upgrading them but havent dove into that research yet. I have seen people using RX7 brakes, I've looked into the Wilwood kit as well. We'll see once I'm done with all the motor work.

I decided to stick with a stock cam for now and spend the money on something else, like injectors...

I have been told that for what im looking to make (~400hp) the Siemens Dekka 60lb injectors (high impotence) were what i wanted:

does anyone have experience with these? I may jump on them.

Was bored today and undertook a grueling task I couldnt put off anymore, polishing up the bolts for my staggered RC090's.. PNWdan gave me the idea of using a drill and sandpaper, it gave me great results but took quite a while!

Finally done! Now to clear coat them..

I'm running the 80 pounders. DMS gave me a great price. Also you can get those bolts chromed for pretty cheap since you already polished them.

I was thinking that or nickel, i just dont know any shops that do it in Seattle, Ill look around though, it would be a better/more durable finish than clear coat.

How are you liking the Deka injectors, I don't think I need 80's since I don't know of any e85 locations around me and it is definitely overkill for my build without it. If you know of a hookup price on 60's (or even 80's for that matter) PM me.. Other than that I found 60's for $249 shipped

Cool, it looks like I can pick them up for $249. Is that about right? If anyone knows of a hookup or a good source, PM me.
