After ordering everything, I realized leatherworldtech sold a disposable spray gun to spray the dye. So I am waiting on that to arrive now :)

Edit: And now I just discovered preval is at homedepot! I will probably give that a try so I can conquer the seats this weekend. So excite

Thanks guys :) bumper tape really does complete the look of the car.

I havent been doing much lately, as temperatures here have been subzero for over a week. Its been miserable actually. I brought the m3 over to fix the fuel line which meant my daily 325i got stuck outside. Then this happened...

I bought some oem premium speakers to replace the aftermarket ones. My intent was to have everything stock. But now Im not sure if I should do that or go with better performing, subtle looking speakers. Thoughts?

And a preview of whats next...

I found out that trim piece Raul was talking about that goes into the oil cooler comes with the front bumper, and cant be bought seperately...does anyone have an extra one?

Thank you for the info Raul. I'm working on finding the actual part number for that.

The PO was stupider than previously estimated. Check out how the fog lights were wired. Uh oh, he ran out of butt connectors apparently, oh well just twist em n go.

Oh and check out the bumper guides!

Yeah they weren't there. As you can see, I pulled the front bumper. It allowed me to bring it inside, clean up the paint chips, properly install the evo gasket, and put on the bumper tape. I also decided to keep the orange corners for now.

Picked this up from the way home from work...

Here is the only part number that I found on it (474-853). You are welcome any time if you want info about Hartge parts in my catalogs, questions and pics of my Hartge collection. I pm you with my email.

So this weekend, I did a little painting. I got some zinno paint from automotive touchup. It came out as expected, not perfect but good enough for the money spent. I painted my euro tow hook covers, two bumper covers and a trim piece from my side mirror that was missing.

I also bought a touch up pen from them, and went around correcting some of the paint chips. The pictures only show one coat. When it gets warmer, I will touch them up more.

No more missing bumper cover above the muffler.

    Euro tow hooks installed

Clear corners... Still not sure if I am going to keep these or go back to orange. Thoughts?

I appreciate the kind words. Definitely fixing every little thing that I can :)

Thanks to b at blunttech I was able to pick up some stuff before we were hit with this winter storm. As the snow came down, I tinkered.

New oem euro grilles, center grille, and m3 emblem. Also installed a evo 1-piece bumper gasket

Cleaned up some more of the engine bay while it was warm enough. but it won't look complete until I get the valve cover redone, get the wire harness covers on, and replace the coolant tank. But then it should look great! Oh and put the new wiper fluid tank in.

New decals from pukar will also help

Was able to find some decent looking tan floor mats. I replaced the headlight switch knob too. Front seats are going to get reconditioned soon.

I use vice grips to clamp the fuel lines when changing the filter but HF actually sells a cheap set of clamps without teeth for just this purpose.
