New to the forum! 1990 325iS Project build

Im new to the forums, looking forward to my e30 project throughout this winter and also following up with other peoples build as well. Just picked up a bronzit / tan (shitty color combo) 325iS. Bought the car for the shell for my upcoming turbo build. I had a 86 325es alpine white/black but i had to part it and still am due to electrical issues and lots of rust. Just picked up this 325iS today and I'm looking forward to starting this build, pics will be up soon! Thanks

Nothing special, but finally picked up the car and got some pictures! Has some rust on the rear tow hook but other than that it's pretty good.. its getting sanded down and I'm getting the whole car repainted.. but hey its a project car.. here we are.. (The black stuff on the paint is plasti dip that peals off obviously, it was like that but soon to be sanded down) Bumpers have no cracks or anything, not bad for what i paid!

Picked it up $800. Got a engine with it too, m20 b25 complete swap, harness ect. came with all the parts as if you wanted to put it back together, auto trans, misc. parts, headlights, fogs, all of it. 112k on the m20b25. It's an iS, has the sport interior and stuff but its tan and beat up but i got a good deal and bought it mainly for the shell. Rust on rear tow hook and a a bubble on rocker but easy fixable when i go paint the car, other than that it's not a bad car! Much more to come!

The shell and weaves look in great shape, but i love how some jackass felt the need to spraypaint 'BMW' on the trunk deck, was this from a junkyard? The black spaypaint over the emblem is particularly bad, but im sure you'll fix her up! Nice find for 800, esp for an unmolested plastic bumber IS.

It's actually not in bad shape at all, it's a project so not a big deal. I didn't pick it up from a jack yard, bought it off someone locally not to far from me. Bumpers have no cracks and are in great shape, updates will appear very shortly!

Haven't had the time to post updates / pictures.. Picked up another e30 to add to my collection. Car needs some work, has an issue where it starts and then dies down if i give it gas, i replaced the FPR, icv, AFM, fuel filter, both fue pumps, so doing all vacuum lines and the ignition kit, a long with new fuel injectors, and that should do it!


This thing was sitting in my garage taking up room...


Now off to the good stuff..
Have the 1990iS as i posted pictures of above, doing a super ETA 88 bottom end, with a built i head, valve springs / retainers ect. Pictures will be up soon of the set up.

The gray 325e turned out to be the fuel pumps which were supposedly replaced by the previous owner.. those will be in monday! but i scored a running and driving 88 325iS White on black with sport seats ect, clean dash, does have rust sadly on the rear lower valence by the exhaust and battery tray (fixable ) but bought it off a elderly couple who brought it to the shop and have like 5k in receipts for the car in the past 1/2 year or so. It is auto but has a built trans, scored it for $800 because they both went out and bought new cars. The body needs lots of love, but i plan on getting it resprayed however the car is mechanically very solid. Pictures will be up soon! ps. i drove the car home just last night !

My 88is that i picked up from a elderly couple. Scored for $800 with 8.6k into the car. One of those cars that is mechanically solid just could look a little better lol. Headgasket redone ect. White on black sport! Added yellow fogs and the lip in which i had laying around, stuck a euro plate on there for hahas but took it off.

New wheels, got them for $480 shipped. Just some reps to hold me off for now




It will sit flush once i get the coils on, tires, suspension settles in and i actually torque the lug nuts down.. won't look "stance" out lol. More updates to come!
