So I'm about 99% my motor is done and and i have no compression which is causing my no start. With the shot of ether the car should have tried something and it didn't at all. lesson learned to not get compression numbers first. I'm gonna start pulling the head to confirm my theory. In the mean time i worked on sourcing another m30 cause I'm not putting any money in rebuild a motor until i have a turbo so I can get my head ported and polished etc. I found a m30b34 that is in known running condition now whats awesome is this m30 comes with a dogleg tranny and I'm working on getting a euro spec m30b34 throw'n in that's blown apart and needs rebuilt. Now you say that's all worth a turbo setup and i say wrong sir I pay $650....... probably still gonna grab the dogleg and euro spec if my motor isnt blown cause why not. that will be 500 kind of hope this motor is blown lolol

Ran compression test today guess it isn't blown.
Results:
Gonna pull the fuel rail and see if all my injectors are firing. If they are I'm sending them to be cleaned. And while they are being cleaned I'll have someone come double check my wiring. This thing HAS to run.
How ever I'm still buying the dogleg which will most likely be up for resale. Gonna see if he will throw in the euro b34 just cause it's sitting in a shed he and I both know he won't rebuilt it.

when you say you are getting fuel, explain to me how you went about testing that?
Are your fuel lines switched? Feed and return maybe? Your cps switch, is that plug switched with another?
EDIT, just read that you have fuel going into the regulator? is that correct? If so, at least in an m20, fuel should be coming out of the regulator, IE the fuel goes into the rail, injectors, then into the regulator then from the regulator to the fuel return. So that fuel line coming out of the regulator on the top front of your motor is the return, not the feed... Not sure if its the same on an m30, but I can't imagine its much different...Last edited by delatlanta1281; 09-14-2014, 10:20 PM.Yours truly,

Its okay to be out of control haha. It was good talking to you aswell I looked at my phone after and didn't even realize we were on the phone for 1.5 hours haha.
My dad is working crazy hours currently leaves at 4:30 am and is home at 7pm so the body work has came to a halt however Im hoping tomorrow after he gets home i can borrow his attention for a half hour and brake my injectors loose and get this thing turn key running!Last edited by ThatOneEuroE30; 09-15-2014, 09:59 PM.

Exactly started as a simple phone call about the dogleg I'm getting and it just snow balled into a conversation about all the bimmers we like haha
Just went and grabbed carb cleaner to get it running on its own
