Build looks good! Keep it up and eventually, there won't be anything left to replace.

I think the E21 has a cool look, very close to the 2002, which I love. It probably has to do with the angled front end from the hood down.

Thanks! Yeah I still have some drivability issues. I need to look into the 318i tps since I'm not sure the ecu is seeing the throttle move.

But yeah the shark nose ISO favorite part.

            New here. E21.

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

I got my tach working. I wasn't working when I did the e30 318 swap so I'm glad to get it functioning again

So I finally figured out my dme was bad causing the last drivability concerns left in my swap. I took it apart to see if it was something simple like a cracked solder. Nothing visible. I found a good dme for $50 shipped on r3v. Not too bad! The car is driving much better

Another project I'm working on is upgrading the lights. Does the e30 bucket fit the best? I believe I have 5 series or 7 series buckets. Does anyone have any pics of how you installed the buckets and what exactly had to be trimmed? I have found a few good threads but the bucket install is a lil vague.

The guibo and trans mount were killed from some old trans leaks. I resealed the trans a bit ago but didn't have the funds to replace these until recently. New guibo, IE trans mount, sway bar end link upgrade for the engine damper. Since I have a newer e21 but older steel motor mount arm, I had to do some grinding to get the damper mount and steel motor mount arm to work together

Im liking how this thing is coming along! Moving the battery to the trunk would help settle that tail down a little.
