    BMW E30 Build, Melbourne, Australia

Trying to get as much stuff out of the bay as possible.

Found this image as a bit of inspiration.

Also starting cleaning up the rocker cover and engine covers.

Will be masking them off and repainting the silver the same colour as the engine cover

Tried to match the colour as close as possible and pretty happy with it.

Picked up the cover from the sand blisters and pretty happy with the out come.

Started to prep the rocker cover and oil filter lid for spraying.

Inspect your valve cover vary carefully for wayward sand/media. If there's any left in the nooks and crannies, it can do very bad things to the engine.

Yeah will do, was done at a head reconditioning shop so they did a good job. Pretty sure they used plastic beads also, not sand.

Painted the covers today. Come up alright, wasn't going to spend to much time on it though.

Stripped more from the bay, few more things to remove then time for clean.

Hi, which lines did you use for the steering rack? Are there OEM parts available or are they custom?
