    Yea - good point. I'm kinda window shopping for something super light, 2 seats and and doesn't cost an arm-and-a-leg. As close as youcan get to a street legal go-kart.

    So far Porsche speedster replica/kit is on the short list(1600 lbs). You can throw a subbie motor in them, and apparently they really fly. Any other suggestions are welcome.

    I think they added a lot more than 400lbs. The AWD turbo Celica donor car looks to be about 3200lbs, and the non turbo FWD Celicas look to be about 2600, so about 600lbs difference for a turbo and AWD, plus all the metal they added to support all of that. I would not be at all surprised if they added as much as 1000lbs to it.
