There was a cool pic in the pchop thread of green intake with the raised portions a gold color like the LR logo.

...but looks like that's all gone now. BUH. Just gonna have to do it I guess.

    More wrenchy....

Bank 2 looks just as nice as bank one. ^_^ All the headbolts are present and accounted for.

Cleaned up one of the intakes. Think I'll just take it by a machine shop and have them hot tank both of them, along with other parts, covers, etc.

    In my head it is.

Haven't touched it. Been being fed a steady stream of cars to tear apart after work. No time for personal projects.

    BUH.

    MS2 is a good choice.

Need to make timing tools so I can proceed on the M70 itself.

I am running MS 2 and use FORD explorer coil... oem CPS and this GM TPS

as i am running manual tb

Should be pretty easy to wire it up too.

For $660 I may just pop for the assembled MS3X. I'm impatient and want to have this thing breaking axles by Spring. I'll just forgo trips to the PnS.

Meanwhile, I've checked, and the Rover frame rails are 24.75" apart. M70 is 25" wide, from the outside of the AC compressor to outside of the alternator.

The AC compressor is at the same level as the crank pulley. Alt is maybe 1.5" higher.

Crank pulley will end up dead even in between the frame rails.

So, some moving of components may have to occur. This thing will have AC (and it's kinda needed as the WP is driven with the AC compressor belt).

We're planning on building a cradle for the M70 so we can run it (them) outside the car. Got a lead on a bell housing...and I think the M60B30 flex plate will work with either an M30 torque converter or the Rover one. V8 FW/flex plate is the same OD as the v12. The v12 BH is 1.25" deeper than the M20/M5X one on the Rover now. The trans input shaft is v12 specific.

Going to have a slump in updates....we've acquired a few e34s for parting.
