Not sure if I want to make the EML work or not. Just pulled the throttle off a e34 535 to sell. Harness was cut.

If that'll bolt up, then a standard M30 throttle should. Just have to figure out how to make the ECU see the position. I wanna get it running on the OE configuration....

I've read that the EML throttles from the M30 535i's can be swapped onto an M70, and are larger than the M70 units.

I put 40k miles on such a car and never had problems with the EML.

So, beautiful thing about M70s is that the cam sprockets are slotted.

Right now I've found a drawing (THX Shogun) to make me'own cam locking tool. From there, I'll determine if the chain is stretched, and also get a visual of the guides. Really just want to reseal and go. Winter is fast approaching.
