So, on the left of the pic, you see where the starter relief is. I had to cut that shiny bit out with a sawzall and dremel it to clear. If the adapter was 30-35mm wide it would have fit perfectly.

I have a 1 off flywheel spacer so I can run a v8, VAC motorsports 15lb flywheel.

Very cool, I suspected you were lying about the BJs you had to give for the 560 getrag. Something just didn't add up in your story, I also had been drinking beer since arriving to the show.

I don't remember BJs or a 560g.

I too had been drinking for a long time. Arrived around 11:30 and B-lined it to the Blunt tent to get started early.

I showed up with a splitting headache that finally subsided around beer 9 and a couple IBprofins. There was a drunken exchange about how you got a getrag 560 (at this time I did not know you did the 420) I don't recall the specifics but it involved you having to perform a sex act upon the proprietor of moosehead engineering. Truly a ghastly exchange of information if I say so myself, what with all the senior citizens around.

Maybe that was about getting the flywheel spacer done? I have no idea where the 560 came from. I abhor those transmissions. Made of glass the synchros are.

Later that day Paul's wife and I were talking and she noticed the zip ties in my ear.....that I had put there that morning.

This was after the interview too.

Started with a M50 (with leaking headgasket) and a failing auto trans. I put an M30B35 with 5sp.
