As far as a production run on this valence goes I will not say anything about sales until I figure out if it even fits our cars, it may be goofy from all the tweakage I've done. And yes the business of carbon fiber stuff is well in the plans.
Step 1: Convince the government I'm going to Harvard
Step 2: Buy $250,000 CNC machine instead
Step 3: Make awesome stuff

Subbing for awesome. Nice work."A good memory for quotes combined with a poor memory for attribution can lead to a false sense of originality."

Finally I get to update this! Well the story remains the same with the valence, molds are still in their pieces in NY. But I managed to complete and install the intake pieces on my friends car so I'll post those. Overall I'm pleased with the parts however I could list 50 things that would make it a better part. So here's some photos:
Let me recap for a second. This is what I was given which was only discussed over the phone, I never saw the car myself.

Then I took coordinates and dimensions of the tube and box and created them in Rhino which i already posted a picture of earlier. I made a fiberglass mold from that piece of plaster and modeled the rest of the scoop in which the box mounts to in Rhino (seen in previous post). I CNC cut molds for the remainder of the scoop and grafted them onto the existing mold I took from the plaster to make one mold for the scoop seen here. Nobody will ever fully understand the miracle of this mold. Behold:

Little more recap. i did some voodoo and ended up with all the parts in a rough form out of the mold and slightly trimmed:

I continued to work on these pieces and clear coated them, trimmed them up more. So the next few photos are of it installed in the car. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen items the box isn't installed. I must do a little grinding down of some bits on the car and it will work. Otherwise yes, it does mate perfectly to the top of the scoop. A keen eye may notice scoop doesn't fit perfectly in the hole but for what went down in order to make it, plaster mold, grafting and all, I'd say I'm pleased.
They have been beaten up a bit too since they first went in ;D
