    Agathas resurrection as a H27SP

So I have another thread that lists what I've done and the cars history, but here is a short history of it. I got it from a fellow r3v member who was parting his ix out I wanted the interior he said it was $300.00 for the interior, so I took a shot and asked how much for the car and he said if you come get it you can have the whole time for $300.00. So a 89 white ix being one of my dream cars I jumped on that and took the ol gal home. Since then I've been rebuilding it and now all that's left to do is a new braking system and rebuild the motor ( it spun a rod bearing).

Here is a link to my cars progress.

Here are my plans for it in the future right now I want to get it running.

Full Restoration ( in progress stripping down for body repairs and paint )
    3.1 Stroker build
Roller cam, ITB, Coil on plug

Haha yeah but hopefully I'll be able to throw money at this thing and it should be on the road soon. I saw 3 e30s today and it was depressing for me. I miss driving an e30.

So i got my pistons and rods hell yeah.

                  they are from a M54B30

Transmission is mated to the transfercase

I need to get me a new mesh for this

The motor before it went to the machine shop

                  HHHmmmm somethings missing

My awesome Carbon fiber BMW emblem and yes its real not a stupid sticker

Once the hartge spoiler is restored ill mount it but i took off the iS lip to see if there was rust and sure as shit there was so i removed it and primed the bare metal so it wont rust now.

The crankshaft awaiting new bearings and to be dropped in the block

once i start rebuilding the motor ill be able to post more pics.

I got my new stainless steel brake lines and I also got my magnetic drain plug. And I just ordered my rod bearings. I'll post pics soon. And on Monday I'll be picking up my block from aims. I can't wait to see it all cleaned up and pretty.

I also just ordered my main bearings Hell yeah

So today I decided to go to pick n pull and I was so sad to see a e30 ix there. It lived a long life 363k miles it could have gone twice that if one of us got out hands on it. So I did what any true e30 lover did. I pulled parts off it to reuse on my ix. I picked up the following

                              Boot lid
                              Whole new bumper assembly
                              Battery cover
                              Kidney grill
                              Bilstein rear shocks
And a couple of other small things

I'll post pics as soon as my computer stops sucking.
