Round 3
Alright guys, I think my m20 2.7i is on the way out. I started getting this clacking metal on metal noise a few weeks ago that got progressively louder. I tore down the front of the motor and found the tensioner failed. The timing belt walked off toward the cover leaving quite the groove (at least 25% of the belt lost), and found slack in the belt. I threw on another belt and tensioner as a bandaid. I got numerous opinions, and the major rules that I may have had piston/valve contact unfortunately. The e30 is still running for the time being, but now I'm kicking the m52 swap into high gear. I picked up s52 cams, an e34 oil pan, pick up, dipstick tube, m50 intake manifold, and fuel rail for roughly 430$. Tomorrow, I'm pulling the m52 oil pan off to see why the motor lost oil pressure. Hopefully the oil pump nut backed off otherwise a new oil pump will go on.

Maintenance
Welp, after 8k miles (in my possession) on the original clutch,it finally gave out. Since I have no knowledge of the motor's history, who knows how many miles are on it. It was given to me with the shell, and apparently raced. I took time after work during the week, and got the job done. I found out my throwout bearing exploded, and my old clutch had some uneven wear. Also, I ordered the wrong clutch kit since I discovered a eta single mass flywheel instead of a dual mass. Twas a fun week. I did the selector shaft seal along with the output shaft seal. I fixed my coolant leak at the thermostat housing after I drilled a broken bolt out followed by retapping.

Fellas, we have heat!
I went sliding earlier tonight, and headed off to dinner. The windshield was starting to get foggy,so I turned on the air, and heat came on. This is gonna make the next few weeks easier on me. Cars and Coffee in the morning.

I have a few things to tackle, but the main issue is no heat. I've replaced the Thermostatic Bypass valve, and made sure the hoses to the heater valve were correct. I've bled the cooling system twice. I've unplugged the heater valve plug to supposely leave the valve open. If it comes down to it, I will drill out the valve if it's stuck.
