    Just saying hello

Well guys, I ordered some more things, and finally found an e30 at the yards to pull a few bits. Hopefully dropping in my motor tomorrow since it has to leave my buddies place within a few days. Started a new job so sorry for lack of updates. Man I missed working on this girl. I just need a radiator and shifter plus a few small pieces to get her running and driving. Anyone have any feedback on using the m42 radiator for the m20? I like the integrated reservoir. Click image for larger version

Sorry for another iphone pic, the canon t3i will return

I got the e30 on it's bc coilovers for the most part. One of the e36 steering rack tie rods would not cooperate and sit flush, so gotta order another one.Click image for larger version

    Monday's activities

The lower half on the bc coilovers on just hanging out on the strut housing. I wired the crap off the plate where the alternator and powersteering pump connect to. The powersteering pump was cleaned off as well due to dirt and grime. The calipers and carrier brackets were wirebrushed and hit with paint. Lastly, I'll leave a teaser.Click image for larger version

Yeah, I was looking into some gramlight 57drs for the e30 which basically need the spacers and hub centric rings. I haven't seen an e30 run these before, but the guy didn't work with me on price.

    Autox this past sunday

I saw this 325i run while working the 4th heat and can't wait for the old girl to ride alongside it. Only 2 e30 ran that day.

The lights were purchased from a friend/forum member yahh_ who retrofitted them with morimoto parts.

What's that silver wheel you have next to the trm c1's above? looks kinda like a rota of some sort?

Also be sure that your intake manifold is the i version that came with the 885 head: it's supposed to flow better than the eta intake manifold. You probably know that; but always helps to be sure.
I agree with the hachi-roku comparision, and I'm excited to take this car to autox. The silver wheel is an SSR Type C wheel that becoming a hose reel or table. The i manifold is hiding since it was just painted.

    Small Update

I ordered a 100$ worth of nuts and bolts from BMW. I have another order to place tomorrow for the motor. Coilovers should be welded sometime this week along with rebuild front and rear brakes. I've been getting comfortable with an e36 m3 for the past few days. I'm longing for my e30 now.Click image for larger version
