Let me know how the leather conditioner works OP, my coupe's seats aren't ripped yet but the leather is getting really hard in comparison to my convertibles.

Got the bumper shrouds all cleaned up, sanded and ready for some SEM paint.
Can't wait to get these back on the car
Also got the final base coat and used Rustoleum Automotive Gloss Clear Coat on the valance and air dam, I think the regal red came out pretty good, its not perfect but it will do for now. I'll probably do some polishing on them in about a week.
I think before I reinstall all these freshly painted parts, I'm going to tackle the timing belt. Don't want to prematurely ding up anything.
With all the whole front end off it looks like pretty easy access to everything.
Hoping to order the parts this week.

Finally made time to start on the timing belt which was well over do!
It was a total HOLY S#%T! moment when I opened the cam cover and saw that the belt was worn off along the front edge! A disaster waiting to happen
Here's a before photo, right before I started. I plan on replacing radiator, expansion tank, entire thermostat housing, all radiator hoses, new painted valve cover with new gasket, valve adjustments etc.
The tear down was actually easier than I thought, followed the procedure step by step and took my time with it, making sure to keep everything at TDC.
The rubber/oil/crud mixture was all packed up into the crevasses, glad to clean all that out of there
Everything open, water pump ready to go on
Got the WP attached with the New timing belt on. Did 4 rotations of the motor turning the crankshaft and everything seems to be lining up nicely.
Next Round, cleaning things up, rust removal and painting pulleys and housings, putting it all back together

Filled with OEM BMW Blue Coolant and Distilled Water 50/50 Mix
All New parts installed with Genuine OEM:- Radiator
- Radiator Hoses and Hose Clamps
- New Expansion Tank
- Water Pump
- Thermostat
- Timing Belt with Tensioner
- Cam Gear Sprocket
- Cam Gear Seal
- PS, AC, ALT Belts
- New Spark Plugs
- Valve Adjustment
- Replaced broken coolant level sensor with OEM connector housing
- Installed e46 power steering reservoir
- Power steering Fluid Flush with New ATF fluid
- Blower Motor Resistor Replaced - Now to the fan blows on all 4 speeds
Painted the bumper trim with adhesion promoter, SEM Flexible Primer, SEM Black Trim Paint. Looks good, let see how well it holds up.
Finally Got the hood back on and letting her breath a little bit.
Before I reinstall the air dam, bumper and trim I need to confirm that the auxiliary pusher fan is working.
Next up is closing up the holes in the center of the lower rocker panels, time to break out the welder again!

Great, simple and awesomely clean resto man! Glad to see that the rust isn't slowing you down, I'm form Buffalo/Rochester NY area, so I feel your pain, I had to replace both floorboards on my first car, it was a great learning experience.
Can't wait to see this one finished.WNY e30 Group on FB, feel free to join if you're from the area!

Did some troubleshooting on the auxiliary fan
Used a wire to bypass the sensor on hi and low switch, found out the resistor was bad.
Had to drill out the rusted, unidentiflable mounting screws and was able to get M-3 screws/locking nuts from a local hardware supplier.
Got a replacement resistor kit from Local BMW, connected it, and now its working beautifully!
I also found a sweet OEM vintage mushroom style shift knob in my box of parts, plan on getting it recovered with some new leather and a new shift pattern insert.
Aluminum Bumpers and Bumper Trim installation up next

I think you'll be happy with the SEM paint on the trim, I've used it before on all kinds of applications and it really holds up well.
