This was my build thread from the last e30 but I have lost my login and don't have the email I use to use for it so that is gone now.
I just want to share the next build I'm doing is an e30 wagon and will be starting a build thread soon!

This is how the car sits now and will be getting an s54 sometime in the near future.

S54s don't have lifters.....

Ha! that's right, the s54 doesn't use traditional lifters, it uses a finger between the cam lobe and valve, and adjusting shim so there shouldn't be any noise, the only noise would probably be the valves needing adjustment.

It's a lifter I haven't tried anything yet. I'm gonna pop off the valve cover later and see what I can do.

Sounds worse in this phone video for some reason.

Hmm are u sure that's a lifter noise? because it almost sounds like...umm don't want to say it, anyways, have you tried using something that would help losen the lifter? I had a lifter noise in my s52(it didn't sound like urs, not as loud) I used Lucas oil stabilizer and it helped.

Thanks I love it other than a little bit of lifter noise. Better than vanos noise
