    1988 325i Vert Build

Gift from an uncle. Been sitting for about 6 years. Recently got into fixing it and its almost ready but issues keep coming up. Made this thread to show the progress and get help from fellow r3v members. Enjoy. Thanks. Will be posting new pics and info daily.

Right click on the image and click on copy image URL and then come to r3v and hit the "Insert Image" button and paste the image URL.

Free cars are almost always very costly. There is usually a reason someone gave up on it. I would expect to see many things repaired with zip ties, mis-matched nuts and bolts, silicone, etc.
However, overall it looks promising. Take your time, do it right, learn a ton, and have fun.
Welcome to R3v, enjoy your stay.

Thank you. Engine is running. Just waiting up on some cash to do the timing belt and seals/gaskets. The car is actually not all ziptied up, this is the first part i've found like this. Car was running great before my uncle parked it, his reason was because he got a 745li and he liked it better, so he offered this to me but i was 11, so i couldn't do anything with at the time. But now that i think back, i should of taken better care of it. Could've saved the top and paint.
