We are now in late March

Well, I am just about caught up with the story. I skipped all the trips to the parts store, junk yard and dealer getting small parts for the car. Just had the guibo repaired, the last guy left out a bolt....a little vibration going on down there, but now it is fixed. Then the guy stripped the upper diff plug:), we got that fixed and now redline is in the diff, much quieter now.
So, after all that I painted the side skirts, rear spoiler, and rear valance:) Paint turned out great on the valance, which btw is not hartge, and the side skirts. Did not work so well on the rear spoiler....paint sort-of turned pinkish after it dried. Looked perfect while wet;(.
I did use a good primer on the white, so not sure what happened. It looks much better than white, but not as good as I wanted....
Someday when I paint the whole car, that will all be fixed:) Those 16" hartge look good in the last picture:)

Hi Rob: Thought I would post to give people some ref. for doing a hartge car and what they look like behind the hartge parts:).
I am almost done putting hartge parts on the car...only need three more. Then its just clean, repair small thinks like the power mirrors and drive it this summer to enjoy the sound of the hartge headers:)

    next in March

Well, we are coming to the end of the background information. In March I was looking for the hartge gauge/and pod. Very hard to find. I did find a bmp pod and some gauges from 1985, so they look very much like the hartge gauges. Looks the same to me:)

Yes, I see them on some of the h26 car and not on others. I thought they were cool when in use with the turn signals...kind of like the city-lights in the front:)
    thanks,
Comments are welcome on this project. I am not an expert....which is obvious from the side marker placement:)

German cars very rarely had those. They were mostly on export cars(tons of England) cool pieces.
