More weight reduction.... 4" aluminum .065" thick tubing to replace the 4" steel.
It will start from the down pipe by the trans all the way out the back. Switching to aluminum is around 15-18 weight savings.
More interested in what it will sound like more than anything else.

Once you reach 150mph in the 1/4 it's a requirement.

new exhaust is soooo light compared to the old steel one. If I were to guess it's 20lbs lighter.
Car is deff louder, not like a lambo that's for sure.!

what do you think you will be down to, weight wise, when you're done. I think these cars are right around 2400 when they are stock. I think you're easily under 2200!

Last weigh in was 2495, plus me = 2650. I'm hoping to be just under 2600 now.
M30 + C4 auto trans, 10 point cage is a lot of weight. There's more weight to loose, like windows & door bars, but I think this is good for now.

How close to the turbo can you get with aluminum exhaust pipe ? I'm not used to seeing any aluminum in an exhaust except a muffler shell.

Not sure how close, I would guess if it was right off the turbine housing it would have to be thicker to withstand the higher heat..?
I've seen holes blown in them right off the turbo before.

New HD high performance diff lube. Had some mystery 90/120w in a old Joy detergent bottle that my neighbor gave me years ago, it looked real clean coming out though.
