In Progress : AC Schnitzer S3.5 Convertible (FOR SALE!! FOR SALE!!)
Are you going to do a lot of upgrades to the engine??
What about stroking it??
Don't know if the S38B38 crank will fit, but it could be a fun build to follow.
Not stroking it.. yet. I want to drive it for a while. S3 3.7 ... sexy.
Not much in way of engine upgrades. The head was redone with little mileage prior to landing in my garage. E30M30 seems like enough power to start.. as desires grow so will displacement.
Yes..
A guy had an original S5, but some parts were stolen, and the engine lost a piston ring, so he took it apart to renovate it. But he hasn't had the time to finish it, so now it just sits there..
I was at some point thinking about using a S38 crank, but that was when I had the E28, I'm not sure my old dad wants to do that to that old lady.
Here is a danish AC Schnitzer vert, one of AC Schnitzers client build cars.
It was for sale a while ago, don't know if it ever sold.
But my boyfriend wants it, so might end up owning that one at some point.
And this is the engine bay of a danish E34 that's for sale right now.
It's an AC Schnitzer S5 3,5 engine, the one with 245 HP.
I can get more when I get home.
But I haven't seen the sales add for it, in a long time. So I suspect it to be sold, pr maybe the owner regretted the sale.
I do suspect the interior to be custom made, it is Black and some sort of yellowish tan as I recall it.
But it does have the ACS wood interior trim pieces.
reelizmpro: I will always be an e30 guy.. I still do all of my own labor TrentW: There's just something so right about a well-built M20 in an E30 e30m3s54turbo: I save my money for tuner parts.
Might not be so hard to find.
I know there's some tests of the old Hartge, Alpina ACS E30's.
In one of my old tests, they compare the E30 M3 with the S3 2,7.
