In Progress : AC Schnitzer S3.5 Convertible (FOR SALE!! FOR SALE!!)
M30 sexyness been sub'd for a while can't wait for all the bells and whistles to be put onto that motor.
Can't go wrong with ACS stuff man loving it!
Lots of jewelry to go on. I think I have my list for the dealer. Hope to visit the counter tomorrow.
And thanks guys. I see your builds and the amount of work, in large chunks at a time, being done and I get motivated. Little fire.
Was going to place valve cover and strut bar for some big wow photos but I just want work done!
As of yesterday... it basically was beginning as the photos above show. A bare motor.
Garagistic DSSR and upgrade kit installed. That DSSR is a very gorgeous piece of metal. Well done Garagistic!! Superior feel. Kershaw has a kit which is very notchy and short. This just feels tight refreshed.
Trans brace now on... Wiring harness laid. Oil filter housing installed. Intake manifold on. Injectors and fuel rail in. Alternator on. Exhaust manifold gaskets and studs replaced. Lots of new hardware used..
Intake manifold took longer than needed. I had the trans hanging to make shift kit install easier. Well that made the intake hit the brake booster. Required the intake manifold studs to come out. We'll while they were out of course clean, restore all the threads. We had a good time.
I'll snap a few photos to post up. I have some questions, too.
The intake manifold is tricky with the stock booster in. It clears my 944 booster perfectly but i had to finagle it around the heater core inlet and outlet. Looking forward to more progress and pics!

This hasn't been forgotten, much. It stares at me everyday from the garage. Motor is in. Started to wire it up. Driveshaft is in. Bled the system but the RR caliper is frozen...so need to rebuild brakes out back. Need to hook up PS pump and lines. Not much. Just need a day dedicated to progress again... kershaw?!? :)
