Yeah dude a vert in winter isn't something I'd want to go for. That sounds like a clean trade even though the e30 is always gonna be the dirty thirty lol but there's always time for a new project!Leave a comment:

I'm in the camp of never doing the e30 for e36 trade. The vert shouldn't be bad in the winter driving wise or at least it shouldn't be much worse than a sedan or coupe. Plus, after spending so much time and effort making this car look and run so well it'd be a shame to toss it aside - when you get the e36 you'll have another project making it yours.
Drive the vert through the winter! You can buy a hard top for it and not have to worry at all - I have one for sale (shameless plug.)
Yeah it would be a shame to trade but I'll admit I really want something with a real roof over my head and I don't have nearly enough money to afford a hardtopLeave a comment:

Anyone have any input on what to do ^^^^^^
I was offered a trade for a Boston green E36 325i with some Dinan parts , coilovers , LSD .
Coolant system overhaul recently , car is well taken care of
If I Trade him I will end up dailying it and start saving money up for another E30.
Should I trade him or not ? I know probably most of you would think to trade an E30 for an E36 would be heresy but I'm just not sure I want to drive a vert this winterLeave a comment:

So I got to thinkin.
I'm going to Need a winter beater soon , and I don't know if driving a vert around in Idaho durning December is safe for the car , or if I can Even find a safe storage area for her either since I won't have room in the garage due to my parents cars .
Should I pull a slick rick and drive a vert around this winter and use her to commute up the mountain for slope shredding ?
Or should I sell and get something with a roof and a ski rack and call it safe ?Leave a comment:

It's CLEAN title .
It's not salvage title haha , I said the interior is salvage .
My interior is actually very bad because the PO let his cat scratch everything to Narnia and back.
The exterior needs alittle TLC as well. Has one small dent and a few scratches here and thereLast edited by BECKSTER; 09-07-2015, 08:21 AM.Leave a comment:
