I am considering the CAtuned but i dont want to modify my spindles and stuff doesnt sound like a good idea. Ik people that have ran into alighnment issues with ca tuned i have heard good things about the KWs and i want those

Swap it to stick and drive it like that for while until i get bored then either m30 or m52 with obd 1 conversion

So the story behind my car...

Dec 20 first day of ownership
Purchased for 400 dollars not running.
This is how i took it home because it sat for 9 years in the previous owners backyard and everything was shot

And the list begins:
Bad fuel hoses and filter
All bushings dried and ripped
Tranny and motor mounts toast
Diff had bearly any oil
Guibo was held on with 2 of the bolts on the flange
Csb crushed
All cracked and messed up tires.
engine oil was OLD
Tranny was even worse
Rear wheel bearing shot
Exhaust seals and bolts all messed up
No coolant
The hoses were very bad
Had no thermostat to findout later
Waterpump bearly had any blades left
Fan clutch was all loose
Timming belt all cracked
Temp sensor missing its top
Leaked oil from everywhere from top
Tensioner and spring were like seized
Ball joints were crap
Brakes? What brakes?
Tie rods with torn boots
Rack boots missing
Valve cover gasket twice( before and after valve job)
Couple of seals and orings
No stereo ( came with touch slider with no code)
Windows would go down but not back up
replaced all fuses
Battery
alternator
P/S pump all new belts
No R12 at all in it but i t has no leaks ( checked)
Blown shocks
Most bulbs weak and burnt
No spare jack or tool set
And more and more and more



1 week from ownership and 2300 in parts already and all labor by me and my dad.
what it looked like when delivered.

First try and fires up i wish i got a video it was an amazing moment.


Checking on more stuff

Suspension and brake lines replaced with high quality parts forgot the name. :/



A couple more things and she was ready for being my first car and i was able to drive it for a week and half later after purchase lol

First time i took it out

My friends e36 in the back

Skip one month i already wanna mess with it...
My friend gave me his basketweaves for free after getting new rims

Had to put in the crappy tails painted black that came in the trunck of the car cuz the ones that were on it didnt work good at times



its already february 2015 and i have officialy blown my trans and got a replacement from the yard for a 100 bucks. ( still kinda working)


March 2015 just gave it more attention topping off fluids removing air bubbles and replaceing fluds often to get all the old stuff out.



April 2015 aka worst month


Driving home from getting brand new pads rotors sensors shoes and stuff until some bitch cuts me off with an Armada and slams on the brakes. So this happend......


Sits for 2 weeks

Then the repair begins


I finish it May 10 2015 ( it sat for 3 weeks)



Get around to smoking out the headlights and found a genuine lip and the yard for 4 bucks


Lip painted and fixed and put in

Picked up some caps and new tires for the basketweaves

And now to current day
With CUT IE springs and bilstiens and racelands rear with bilstiens
Before back was lowerd and now that the back is lowerd
The story of my POS it has come a long way and i am proud of my self being 17 and starting from scratch and getting here with my own earnings.

Its not really a parking spot but i got for free and no chrge added to rent so it doesnt bother me

Lowering the back did significantly raise the front so its not diving anymore
