Im with you, if I can avoid ever working with fiberglass I do. Keep it up though I love seeing updates on this thing. I sent you a text recently about a roll bar for my car, not sure your thoughts on it, but just asking around right now.

My bad, I didn't know it was you that texted. Right now, I really don't have time to take on anymore projects, especially a cage. If you have questions though, I'll do my best to help

Then shot it into the quarter panels for reinforcement. I'll go back around and trim all the excess when everything is dry

Whats the cutout in front of the rear wheel for? Did you do that so that you could get more foam in there?

Unfortunately, I got a little over zealous with the foam and didnt fully understand its properties. I did the initial shot into the quarter panel and the foam expanded nicely. I thought the foam would "roll" and expand into areas not covered during expansion. That wasnt the case and instead it bonded to the initial space and just expanded pushing the fiberglass out and "bowing" it. The quarter panel was bowed just slightly, but with all the time I have invested, i knew it would bug me so I cut out the portion, sanded down the foam, and bonded the panel back into place so I can glass over it.
