Exactly. It makes no sense at all when you sit down and objectively see what's going on. Why would you personally pay 10x for a deeper drawer? If it's your money you just wouldn't do it.

Right. If you want a deeper drawer you'll have to pay SnapOn $12k vs. $1200 from Harbor Freight. My outgoing 44" Stainless Steel box was only 16" deep.

You can literally buy 10 HF 72" boxes for the cost of a single SnapOn 68" EPIQ box.

20" is plenty deep. In a small residential garage 20" is almost too deep when you take into consideration working on a car parked in the 20' x 20' garage that you're up against whist opening those drawers.

I should have mentioned that the pics are a bit hard to see what really is going on...maybe it's just the camera angle. But....If it's the arches, well then, you need to take that into account and adjust to suit???? And yes, I know you have OEM tire size, and all that jazz. ;)

I'm not hating on the build(love it), just something doesn't look right in several of the pics you posted - and I can't put my finger on it yet. I'll shut up till you post some decent pics.

I'll try to find that red mt2 car with K1's - it's really has the "perfect" stance - it with BBS's would be perfect. Remind me and I'll look through my archive. I'm sure the difference will be apparent.

Camber plates generally have a lowering affect to them as well, because the overall stack height is usually shorter than the worn out strut mount they replaced.,.

I like window tint, but not for this car. Nope, I haven't touched the car for almost 2 weeks.

It does not rub but it is very close in the rear, all sheet metal is in its factory configuration and I would like to keep it that way unless I have to roll them a little.

I like the stance and as you said, a great, visually pleasing, yet functional amount of low. Not that you need my approval, or anyone else's.

But in the interest of "constructive criticism." You do come off as curt sometimes in your responses. Just a heads up... again, you don't know most of us from Adam though, so you do you boo boo.
Is what it is I guess.

Aged for sure, gracefully I don't know about that. I'm pretty mellow these days, unless you push me beyond reason I'm pretty chill. I'd rather be your friend through our common interested than pick a fight, but sometimes.....

I'm convinced the "moar low" crowd don't actually drive their cars beyond the parking lot meets, and don't cringe when they scrape the entire car over a speedbump or shred their fender lips on their tires that are sized like a hipster wearing his sister's pants.

I kindly explained what components are on the car in an attempt to convey to you why it sits where it does, and that it would naturally lower itself as the new parts wear in.

I get that you would like to see the car lower. You obviously like your car low. You're tucking tire up front and poking wheel past the fenders. I've had cars this low, and its not practical for a normal person to drive a car at that ride height.

I'd invite you to purchase the vehicle and to adjust the suspension and ride height to your specific taste.

In the meanwhile the car will be setup in a manner most would consider a tasteful lowering, which is aesthetically pleasing while maintaining a reasonable ease of operation. While I'll likely have the car awhile this car is ultimately being built for resale at the end of the day and I need to keep the "everyman" in mind in that pursuit.

I don't feel like it is a stretch to assume most buyers looking at spending this kind of money on a restored E30 aren't going to want it so low its difficult to drive.
    Very well said Sir. Jordan for President. [emoji2] [emoji5] [emoji2] [emoji5] [emoji2] [emoji13]
