Waiting on a variety of nuts and bolts to come in. As i wait , i prep this valance for alpine white paint. Some spots of the valance are really tough and thick, but its getting there.

Waiting for some oem parts to come in that have been back-ordered. That's that on the motor update part of my car .

But today, i scored fat deal on my set of rc's i found plus a spare , with the help of the PO. Just need adaptors or a 5 lug complete if any of you looking at this would like to get rid of.

Hope you know that, that hose goes connected to the water pump.

    Pulled the trigger on ordering
    •Exhaust manifold heatshield gaskets

    • camshaft seal and o-ring

    •thermostat

    • thermostat to throttle hose

•headbolt washers * ( these weren't there when i pulled the head) they were quite the buck for some washers.

    • Catalyzer - manifold flange gaskets .

Also picked a late valance up for a great price today. \(^o^)/

Test fit of the newer style cam gear i bought from constantine. Test fit because i still need a camshaft seal and o-ring.

Was scared at first because i couldnt get it on, but found out this comes off

Going to order the rest of the parts i need tonight :) highly considering running blue top injectors but we'll see how it runs first.

So further plans i've been looking at since i wont have to be worrying about the motor bugging out on me any time soon, i realized both front spring perches are shot to hell so i'm looking at some suspension kits.

    - brake pads and rotors

I also am looking for a second pair of style 5 RC090's if anyone on here has any ( im psyched i even found a pair near a dumpster) . Makes me happy it'll be running well in a matter of time though. *EDIT : found some plus a spare :)

    Also the timing cover

    - sanded , 200 and 100 grit , then used high heat rattle can . I think i did fine for a first

With this , i didnt want the same dirty bolts to be on this, especially after the time i put into painting it, so they're sitting in some cleaner .
Sorry for the shit 6s photos

Its been about a week but i got my head back and its crack free , haven't had any time in the garage because of work.

What needs to happen as of today :
    - block drain , there are rust flakes in there for whatever reason.

    - Head goes back on
    - Camshaft seal
    - Oil Pan gasket
    - Replace some hoses
-Thermostat (figured out that caused cooling problems.I'm positive)
    - I have a new TB to put on
    - Cluster batteries, only the right half lights up when the lights are on.

however , the head after machining. I'm pleased.
