Life happened for a few years. In 2017 I moved, and car no longer was in a covered space.



In 2018 - Installed the BBS RC’s, and had Prova go over on the drivetrain (new seals, fluid flushes, bearings, bushings, etc.). Also did a Supersprint resonated section with their Sport muffler.



Nothing to the car in ‘19, put very few miles on it in this time (<1000) and covered it for winter. Uncovered it spring of ‘20 to find the interior had grown some mold. At that point I gutted the interior and cleaned everything up.

In April ‘21, both my 328i wagon and wife’s daily driver were totaled by a drunk driver while parked in our driveway. This summer was one of the worst times to be in the market for a car. Long story short we ended up in an X5 40i as a single car for daily duties.

In a different turn of events, just gained access to a garage spot for the M3. The M3 has never been water tight due to the roof being replaced in the ‘90s, and not done well, and is how moisture got in and mold was able to grow winter of ‘19. After sitting outside for last 4 years, the clear coat and a portion of the paint on the roof and trunk lid has peeled away. Now that we plan to use this car a lot more than we had been the past few years, I am working on rectifying those issue.s The car is at a body shop now getting much needed attention to the roof and various seals.

wow, quite the update there! glad to see you still own it and are making good progress on it still. bummer about the mold, and the loss of your e91, but on the plus side, it means the M3 gets some more drive time.
