    ....hartge rear valance does not extend much lower than stock
    ...........mtech1 rear is lowered more...hides muffler more

    .......I kinda like the way it looks......you might like it better painted black?

    fairly certain that with the right muffler, I can mount the muffler further back close to the axle of the car, and my exhaust guy can simply run piping in the typical classic e30 fashion without having the muffler canister so vividly poised in plain view.

    at least I'll give that a shot.
    otherwise I'll likely just go with something OEM looking, or better yet OEM

    Yes I have one of those. they stick straight out when mounted. Mr. Burns is looking for angled exhaust tips.
