I'm going with MTech material from the m3 Evo. I score 5 yards of that material two years ago from Germany.
That sounds really nice: I think I am going to go with hounds tooth, or herringbone for the interior. I have the seats, herringbone sports, just need to get the rest of the interior...and then sell my nice tan one:)

Good to hear you got a kit. Did it come from the UK, or Germany??
If you have any questions, let me know.
Regarding the badges: I have seen them on the euro m-tech 1 but just on the front. I have a feeling that if you got the real m-tech 1 it was an option. There was no m-engine as far as I know in an m-tech 1. But there were lots of upgrades for the interior, exterior, and suspension...maybe even some work on the engine. As I mentioned above, I just happen to have a badge, and saw the pictures, so thought it looked ok:)
I know the m535i had a m-badge, but no m-engine...
The only Mtec1 I know of that came with M badges and a bit of the engine upgrade was the UK version from 1987. Very few were made. There's one guy here in Jacksonville locally that has one. There is a thread somewhere on E30tech that talks about that particular car.
Thanks for the information. I tried to find the car on e30tech, but no luck. Maybe I will come across it some time in the future. Would be interesting to see pictures of the car.

So today I went and looked at an 85 325e. Had houndstooth interior, but it was a 4 door:(.
Got a gas cap, and some clips...and the rear trunk carpet...mine went missing somewhere last winter:). So now I can put the trunk back together. and that will be one more item done..now it's time to get back to the other e30:)

There is some good information in there. I am thinking the European m-tech was the same as the uk m-tech 1 in 87, only left hand drive. I am thinking if the m-tech 1 had engine upgrades etc, maybe my m-badge is coming off:). I do have some nice suspension upgrades....:)

Was able to get a set of chrome euro bumpers for cheap, so the m-techs are coming off.
Do not like the white, or silver painted bumpers:)...guess the m-tech bumpers will be for sale next month:)

The chrome looks so much better in my opinion:)
Have to get the back off....much more work.

The bumpers were packed the best I have seen in awhile:)
