So we are gonna lay off the story and look at a bit of the build, i brought her in to the shop at school to get her ready for the summer.
For general maintenance:
-Intake manifold gaskets
-timing belt
-water pump
-new csb
-check and seal any vacuum leaks
-new TB that didnt have the emissions adjuster screw all messed up
-Coolant flush/oil change
Go fast bits:
-Tube headers
-SETA manifold (this isn't a go fast bit, it was more of an experiment. I was after low end power and decided to swap the I manifold with this SETA manifold to see if i noticed a difference
Here we are getting started, had the motor all ready to be pulled in under a hour. That way the next morning we could do everything in one day

Here is the engine bay and if you look in the lower right corner, you will see a steering rack that i was going to install but ran out of time. (Its still on my list to do) Its from a 1995 M3

So here comes what gave this car its name, and really what brought it all together. Its more than a name, its goal. I know know what i want to do with the car and where i want to be with her in the future. I love ripping through pastures, through snowy fields, and all over back roads. And i came up wit ha term that really describes the whole experience. Kind of like how you would name the best amusement park ride. New plates :wgaf:

Here is the next big mod to the Ralle30. The car has always had a 2.93 LSD in it which was great fro road trips, but got annoying as hell in the trails around the farm and on the back roads. With the 2.93 you had to be going Mach 40 to get the engine up on the power, so i picked up a nice 4.10 LSD. I couldn't believe the difference, it was night and day in this car, i can fly up hills, I can get the engine in the power band at any speed.They don't lie when they say gearing makes all the difference. And it got rid of the annoying vibration at around 45-60 mph. While i was in there i did new axle shafts as well just because.

Alright,
For those of you that have read it this far we are at present day, this is what the car looks like today. She is ready for summer, i have a few more loose ends in the chassis to button up, but she is my daily driver and gets a ton of attention around my little farm town and the towns around. It has come a long way and i still have big plans for this coming winter (turning it into a non daily):
-24v Swap
-OBD1 M52 w/ s52 cams
-Boost
-zf5
-stripped and caged
-I want to get about 4-6" more suspension travel via a custom coilover setup (kind of what you would see on a trophy truck)
-Condor 24v bushing kit
-5 lug swap with UUC BBK kit
-Maybe i will touch up the paint
- all the related mods to the above
I am going to be saving my pennies and dimes all summer, as i am moving back to the city to work at a dealership and when i come back to school for my senior year she will evolve into something crazy hopefully. But she will never be a show queen, i will still drive the hell right out of her in places where cars shouldn't be and maybe even compete with it one day. I will do my best to keep you guys up to date over the summer with any funny stories and any cool stuff i do to her.

I will be there with my car at the glen both friday and saturday, armed with a gopro and a non potato camera. We have to get some cool shots! I'm doing my rear wheel bearings, CSB and diff fluid tomorrow so she will be all set to go

We actually have a good number of events up here in the general WNY area, I plan on running my car in them along side Aaron (Lounsracinginc) when I get some work done on it.
