In probably the worst spot too, this must have been a raised truck or something because it's way up on the rear quarter panel. Car is dusty, haven't driven it for two weeks.

    Damn I am f-ing pissed.

Here is the engine so far. The flywheel bolts that I ordered were the wrong ones, too long so I need to re-order them and a couple more things.

Test fitted fuel lines after replacing the old fuel hoses. Manifold is off to drill/tap 2nd small fitting for a vacuum line.

Just over 3 years ago I got this car -

Before with it's worn out interior, dash, suspension, drum brakes, big ugly bumpers etc..

and after - still a long way to go before it's a "show room" condition.

New cat is on the way, along with a couple small items. I am going to run a stock 325i rear section until I decide what magnaflow exhaust to go with, I don't want it to be too loud. Nice deep sound is what I am after.

New sunroof seals are waiting to be installed along with new oem door panel seals. They come in as sheets and you have to cut them out yourself to fit the doors.

Damn...I had no idea you were thinking of the M30. That's my all time dream set-up.

Freaking car is stunning. Can't wait to see it running and hook-up that AC. Everyone neglects the A/C.

Nice work, Jean. I think you and I came to e30s at about the same time and we're both doing swaps at the same time. Kinda funny. Nice job prepping the m30, it looks like new! nice transformation.

I still like those 92's on your car. I might be getting rid of them soon if you do get interested.

BTW, were you able to get dent fixed?

                        Thanks guys! I can't believe it's been 3 years.

Holland - I just picked up my copy of the police report from that accident (pretty straight forward with the other party being 100% at fault) and have a court date next month. It will get fixed after the court date, as I don't want it to affect anything.

PM me on the 92s :) I will need some 15" wheels for my dot r tires sooner or later.

I'll let you know when I get my B's on. Before then I will do a bit more refinishing work on them.

M30 Power FTW!!! Pulls like a train. 1st goes by quick. Used an e28 535i lower radiator hose and it's about 1/2" longer than the e32/e34 hose. Used my m10 temp sender for cluster and it's working. Will order a new sender for my late model cluster. I need to fix my late model cluster as the tach is off. All gauges work though :) Also need to extend the radiator fan switch wires as the ones in my car are on the driver side.

I think there is air in the system, it seems like the temp gauge goes up and then down, and up and down. I'll try and jack the front end up and see if air bubbles come out of the bleeder screw.
