Send the cluster to Gregs///M he's a forum member and does totally solid work. 9k rpm tach? no problem!

After double checking all of the wiring for the dash, it looks like the si board is dead. We are thinking we should send the cluster out to get it rebuilt with a custom tach. Still no speed signal so no vtec just yet but we need to test the lsd.

I told my buddy I needed him to do a small pull so I could datalog the speed sensor. I didn't tell him I turn the rally antilag on, lol.

First drive around the parking lot....yes I know it needs suspension.

Found more problems, no tach, no temperature gauge, no brakes, and the Haltech can't see a speed signal.

I'm not sure either but the builder sent patch pieces to try and fix the problem and they stayed in constant communication with us to try and help fix the problems. I would rather not say who built the harness just yet.

Fixed the wiring on the crank position sensor and the Haltech still gave the same code. We got to looking around more and we found one of the cam position sensors was wired backward.

We got that all done and gave it another start

We've been at it for a few months now. I didn't want to start a thread until it was clear we would be able to get it up and running. I hate to into a build thread and the car never gets finished.

If you want to embed them, it's pretty simple.

    [youtube]***[/ youtube]

In place of *** you put the video ID, or whatever you'd call it, which in the youtube link would be the numbers and letters at the end after ' watch?v= '. Hope that makes sense.

And take out the space between the slash and youtube. Had to put that in to keep it from trying to post a video.
tried that but it didn't work I'll try it again

I'm having a hard time posting youtube videos.

Got the harness in and got the car running but it runs like it's out of time and it has a bad misfire. The Haltech gave us a code for a bad crank position sensor, switch the sensor but we still have the same problem.

Looks like a problem in the wiring....
