    Alright thank you for the help. I do have the Bentley manual. I haven't looked through it yet. I know I cleaned it up really good and got all the oil off which required me taking it out of the housing,when I reinstalled it, I just pulled to one side and screwed it in. I noticed there was an adjustment by this thread so figured I need to adjust for the best results.
    Thank you to everyone for the help. Now we can go back to our regularly scheduled build lol.

    That's how the one that was on the car was, it was all the way to one side.
    The new one is about 1/2 in the middle. I figured it was 30 years of wear and tear. :iono:

    I need to do this to mine. I have cleaned my TB and now I need to calibrate it.
    Thanks
    Looking good btw. It's a long process, but well worth it in the end.

    For anyone needing OEM decals/stickers;

    Reproduction restoration decals stickers & warning labels for your classic BMW including E30, E24 E28, Alpina, M3, Hartge and other models

    They worked with me, back and forth to get the custom color code, and tire chart for my car. I highly recommend their services. Solid 10/10.

    Makes sense. I have a rusted exhaust shield that I was going to take off and freshen up, but I'm afraid the studs will just give up the ghost.
