Installed the injectors, new fuel rail, new pressure regulator, and put on the throttle body.

The fuel rail and regulator were originally to the 2.7 Eta engine. Yikes.

Put the trunk lid on, and installed the liners.

Got the door handles and latches installed, and installed the fuel door.

Installed the carpet, after laying down some sound deadening material.

It wasn't too bad once you sit down and take a look at it. I didn't take it nearly as far apart as Jordan, but, I got access to all the innards, removed all the foam, cleaned it up.

Glad I have the newer one for spare parts.

Got the front and put together and she's looking quite lovely.

Got the intake manifold off, cleaned up all the runners, used some wheels cleaner and it got all the gunk and oily mess from the runners, looks brand new now. Waiting on gaskets before I install the 19# injectors, new fuel rail and pressure regulator.

Put the head back on, got the front of the engine put back together.

Got the transmission back in the car, and painted the pulleys.

Painted the engine block, and replaced the front seals. Installed the water pump.

Cleaned up some of the aluminum parts and painted them with Alumablast.

Replaced the seals in the transmission, although I didn't get a picture of that.

Going to require the O2 sensor, it got a little close to the exhaust.

The P.O. didn't tighten down the guibo to the transmission, resulting in loose bolts, this is where it hit the shift arm.

    Also, removing that "bitch clip"
Fuck that shit, I ended up breaking the plastic bushing around the pivot arm, and removing the shift level to get the transmission out. After fucking with it for about an hour, I was ready to take a sawzall to the damn shift linkage.
