I will post a picture tomorrow after work when I have some decent day light of what it looks like so far. Hopefully it will give you a better idea.

I'm leaning toward possibly getting an ACS or Hartge rear apron, or possibly an M-Tech II replica.

In my opinion rieger and sport skirts dont go well at all. The skirts are way to small to fit the giant rieger. I think jordans and bmps work, i will be rocking the bmp's.

Didn't BMP stop producing their side skirts?

maybe you could get one of those fiberglass mtech2 rear aprons? that's what I want to do with mine, would match up much better with my ix sideskirts and rieger lip.

can't wait to see it finished, I'm impressed with the work you've put into this so far.

That's exactly what I was referring to, Eurostyle makes a great quality FG replica. Besides, getting an OEM M-Tech II rear apron would be tricky, since the M-Tech II rear bumper and apron are one-piece. I just emailed Filip and asked him what he's got.

Thanks for the encouragement, nando. After the rear apron situation, I was feeling a little disheartened yesterday.

Going with the aftermarket valance is a better idea imo. Sould be a lot easier to fit on and will look great. The work that has been done so far showes me that you could make a pile of shit on your car look good lol:p

Ha ha ha, thanks Mike. Again, it just goes back to not being able to get it done in time, and starting to see that the OEM rear apron isn't really going to be exactly what I wanted.

Tonight we did the little bit of Bondo work that I mentioned earlier, filling in a couple of spots that got tagged by the cutting wheel, and an area on the trim that got gouged in a couple of spots. Didn't take more than about an hour and a half, and now all that's left is to primer the rest of the bumper surface, do some more sanding, and we'll be ready for paint this weekend, finally!

The dark spots in the trim are areas that got gouged out by trying to remove a previous layer of Bondo (we just decided to try and see how well it would stick to the plastic for shits & giggles, and it didn't, lol), and the spot up in the right hand corner is a spot where I accidentally touched the semi-wet primer:

Very thin layer of Bondo applied to the areas to be filled:

Sanded down and feathered out, ready for a new coat of primer:

The damaged area on the bumper skin to be filled:

                      Damaged area filled with Bondo:

After the Bondo dried, we ground out all the excess that was in the trim channel, and got to sanding:

Damaged areas repaired, and sanded smooth, ready for primer:

This was the same thing done on the other side, the pic I took of the damaged spot was super-fuzzy, but it looked about the same:
