    You, Sir, are a whore.

    Get it DONE!

BTW, I still have the roller. The owner of it has yet to come and reclaim it.

I just called the shop to find out about when I can expect to have this stuff back, and he told me probably TOMORROW. :D

Yeah, I'm pretty fuckin' stoked. :D I was expecting 1-2 weeks, minimum. He said he wants to get them done ASAP so they're not in the way and they don't get banged up/knocked over.

Pics or ban...yes, now, before they are done.

            I so went there.

I should have the bumpers and stuff back either today or tomorrow. He's trying to get them done as soon as he can.

Monday was a great day, I got the bumpers and valence mirrors back from the body shop with new paint. I also had him do the side mirrors and the brake duct inlets. The paint is very good. Not perfect, but I don't really care. It's got some areas of light orange peel, but other than that, it's gorgeous. It's a deep, glossy black, and this isn't a concours car, it's not a show car, it's my project car, and it looks great. I can always wetsand the problem areas later, but right now, they don't bother me at all. So without further ado-do, here's the pics:

And now, in a few weeks once I've recovered fully from my surgery, I can start putting them together and on the car.

Yep, I was friends with the guy who owns the shop's son in high school. Apart from that, I've been going there for years for whatever little car stuff I have, and he's always given me a good deal.

I did all the prep work on all these parts, and they also had 3 coats of paint on them. I just sanded the paint down a little, and they shot the new paint over the existing paint and primer. Now if anything, I've got a little more depth with the paint on all of it.
