Yeah, I'm pretty fuckin' stoked. :D I was expecting 1-2 weeks, minimum. He said he wants to get them done ASAP so they're not in the way and they don't get banged up/knocked over.

I just called the shop to find out about when I can expect to have this stuff back, and he told me probably TOMORROW. :D

    You, Sir, are a whore.

    Get it DONE!

BTW, I still have the roller. The owner of it has yet to come and reclaim it.

It depends on your application, where it is, how severe it is, there are a dozen different ways to deal witth rust. In my situation, on the parts that were rusted, using the electrolosys method worked wonders.

An update today, I am FINALLY DONE SANDING. The valence, both of the bumpers, my side mirrors, and the brake duct inlets are all going to the body shop tomorrow for a professional respray. I should have it all back within a week or so, and then I can start assembling everything. w00t!

It's the OEM unibody rear apron from the 88+ model cars, cut off of a '92 cabby. Check the first page of the thread for pics.

Hey, just an update to let you guys know that the game is still on!

I'm taking the bumpers and valence in for paint at the end of this week, and I just got finished getting the rear apron all ready for installation. I took a grinder to all of the edges and corners and got everything nice and rounded off, with nice clean edges. Andrew and I will probably tackle it again at the end of this coming week, starting to test fit and get it ready to be mounted. And yes, we are going to be welding it.
