You didn't lock your keys in, the trunk just wouldn't open. The key would go in and turn, but not unlock. It got stuck or something.

How many times the trunk of an average e30 has been closed and opened?

How many of those times the lock got stuck?

What are the chances that lock gets stuck when the drunk owner is traveling in the trunk?

This has happened... It was not me, but I was the one who had to dremel the lock away :)

Does anyone have a pic of the rear side brackets that keep the ears of the rear bumper from drooping? I just picked up a set and I am not entirely sure of their position, I only have one hole in that area and it looks like I need two holes? I just want to be sure of their position before I start drilling holes, the part numbers of the brackets are:

For the most part, yes. We cut the sides off at the fender wells because they were showing, but the rest of it is still there.
