Don't worry Burg, I also made that mistake. Now I've been enthusiastically educated by Tacos that "S" also stands for "stripped-out" or "lacking most available sporty features that someone would want in a BMW 3 series", with the exception of sport seats, rear sun blind etc.

So from what I understand, its comes with sport suspension, tech1 body kit, and that's pretty much it..

It comes standard with comfort seats, no ac, no central locking, no power windows, no LSD and one color option.

Sounds like a build that someone went for, but ran out of money lol

I think you're confusing sport package with S edition, which from what I'm gathering, don't seem to be the same thing, albeit extremely similar.

very similar, but the S EDTION model was only available in the one colour and only as 2 doors and obviously you can see the options which you could of had with it.

NO 4 DOORS (no, 4 was an option)
NO AUTOMATIC GEARBOX (actually, it's an option)
ONLY 2.O ENGINE (acutally, you can get a 2.7)

At the end of the day different countries had different models and different specs, but as you can see this model was a limited Edition and a model in its own right.
