How To Remove An M20 from the E30 - Step-by-step guide

I have sort of been a troll for the past few years, but I did own a S50 e30 almost 15 years ago when the S50 was cool.

I am back in the seat of an E30 (a vert this time), and I am going to document it and create guides for the sub projects I will be working on. The first project was the engine removal. I didn't have a bentley and I work with knowledge I gained years ago, but I found that there are a lot of little projects missing online how to guides for the E30, so my personal project is to make them in hopes they help the future DIY-ers with their projects.

Here is step one of what I am calling Project Alpine White Vert. The plan is full nut and bolt refresh, S54, 5 lug, and a bunch of euro parts.

Here is step one: Engine Removal.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree on all counts, although it is very easy to take out an engine, there are a handful of different strategies to get it out and countless tip and tricks. I had a rough checklist of items needed, but there was no clear cut path. Please comment on particular steps that need more info.
