opened the hood, looked around, decided the windshield washer reservoir needs to go and the coolant tank needs to be moved. Also started looking at the A/C system because that needs to be deleted. Then I decided it was too cold to work on the car :p1997 540i/6 - stock

replaced crappy, rusted, catless, constricting eta exhaust with a full 325i exhaust.
Seriously, it feels like my horsepower has doubled, also it idles way better. It is amazing and sounds awesome!
Also replaced the crumbling tranny mounts while it was up. That was also a major improvement. It's like driving a completely different car now.

On my daily driver, I fitted a circa-1985 oem sunroof windscreen, put in a junkyard-quality used factory driver's floormat, and replaced a sagging passenger door weather seal. Thank you local pick a part, $21.25.
I detailed my alternator and oil filter housing for my M42 cabby. I also began marking intake vacuum and coolant lines in preparation for the TB coolant delete.
I removed/cleaned the ICV in the wifes E36. Then I ordered an ICV for the wife's E36, as it still runs like shit, and the vane in the ICV is crooked and rattly."I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death."
