changed master cylinder today and flushed brake system and replaced with ATE super blue racing brake fluid

I finally found an insurance company willing to insure the car for a reasonable price(I'm a student) 850$/year not bad considering other
quotes I got.

So yeah if you want to buy an import check with your insurance first

Removed driveshaft and radiator last night so I could unbolt the motor mounts and, using a hoist, slide the engine/trans forward about 2 inches. I removed all the rubber insulation on the firewall and in the trans tunnel. Next step is massage the firewall a bit, lay down a layer of dynamat to hopefully keep some of the noise and heat at bay after loosing the insulation, install remanufactured starter motor and shove the engine back in place. Then, hopefully, fingers crossed, first drive of the 335iC :) :) :)

Just finished sanding and painting the center emblem surround for my steering wheel, which I made from a single flat piece of ABS, it looks amazing.

today i gave her some fresh valvoline 20w50 as well as the e28 and painted/installed my is lip and repainted my windshield washer grills and mud flaps

Nothing. I've been driving my friends e46 325i sport for the past couple of days and it is sooo boring. Yes it's an automatic, but an e30 has way more character than that car. It's boring, but a very comfy DD.

Fixed my clunking noise AGAIN!? This time I took some copper strips, wrapped them around the threaded rod on the sway link, and squished them with the mighty force that is a wrench on a nut while an Allen wrench watches awkwardly. Perhaps it'll stay quiet, like a good West German should (because if it should speak up too loudly, someone might remind it that its country no longer exists).

I got an iS lip yesterday, going to get it sanded and painted today, and possibly install my foglight gaskets. I also ordered the powder coat for my wheels on Friday, should be here on Tuesday.

decided to get it dirty before Eurosunday this upcoming weekend. Found a nice gravel road that led to nowhere and had some fun. The way an E30 drives in the dirt is so much fun, its almost like riding a 2 stroke dirtbike, at 3k when all the power starts to kick in just hold on:) only problem is my front end starts to become "floaty" at 40mph in the dirt, I need to buy some knobbies for the bottle caps and then get some weaves for the summer.
